Enfield Soccer Mission Statement
The Enfield Soccer Club strives to promote the game of soccer, and ensure that it is a fun and positive experience for all participants. We work hard to provide a variety of opportunities for participants to play at an appropriate level, be it TOPSoccer, recreational, or competitive. We truly believe that there is a place and team for every player.

We are committed to developing positive role models who value fair play, sportsmanship, and teamwork. We strive to provide a safe environment for everyone. We are dedicated to developing a player’s character, self confidence, discipline, dedication, and respect for teammates and opponents through quality coaching.
 
Indoor Training

The Enfield Soccer Club will be offering indoor training begining January 21st. Sessions will run for 2 hours, 6:30-8:30 pm on Saturdays and 7:00-9:00 pm on Sundays at the Enfield Tennis Club on Shaker Road. The cost is $5 per session, and are open to all age groups unless noted otherwise.

The schedule for January and February is listed below. The club is also looking for older players (U12-U19) that may be interested in becoming Soccer Buddies for our U6 and U8 players. Players would work one on one or in a small group teaching skills and then participate in game activities with their "buddies".

  • Players should arrive dressed, ready to play soccer, including shin guards.  Flat shoes with non marking soles, no cleats will be permitted.  All players should bring water and a ball.
  • Soccer Buddy sessions will only be 1 hour long.  We are looking for more “Buddies”, this is great way to satisfy any community service requirements.

Spring Recreational League Registration Is Open

Registration for the Spring Recreational season is now open. Families can register on line by clicking the Registration tab on the left side of our homepage, or by downloading the form available on our Documents page and mailing it in. Please contact Darren Ketchale at if you have any questions.

We will also be offering one 'live' registration event for the spring season.  This will take place at the Enfield Central Library on Saturday, March 3rd from 10am to 2pm.

CJSA Coaching Certificate

Each year the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association holds it's annual convention and general meeting. CJSA offers coaches the opportunity to earn their CJSA Coaching Certificate during this time by offering a day long series of clinics. This years clinics include passing, receiving, defending, and a session on concussions among others. The cost is $50 if you register ahead of time (which includes lunch), or $55 at the door with no lunch option.

The Enfield Soccer Club will reimburse any coach that earns their certificate and coaches through the Spring season. CJSA Mandatory Background Checks

Any person involved in CJSA, state, district, club, or any of its teams, (recreation, classic, premier, ODP), as a coach, assistant coach, manager, volunteer referee, official, administrator, board member, or director, etc. must complete the online CJSA background check.

All coaches, assistant coaches, managers, division managers, and board members must go to
www.cjsa.org and register. The process takes about 5 minutes.
