The Enfield Soccer Club is pleased to invite your team to apply to the Kevin Barmak Labor Day Soccer Tournament on August 31st & September 1st 2013, in Enfield Connecticut. Please feel free to copy and distribute this letter and application to other clubs or teams in your area. www.enfieldsoccer.org
 
FORMAT: Each age group shall consist of two, five (5) teams division, unless otherwise directed by the Tournament Committee.  Each team will play a minimum of four (4) games.  Competition will begin at 7:45 am Saturday, August 31st, and will conclude on Sunday, September 1st.
 
AGE GROUPS: Teams based on USSF/USYSA age groups, for Boys and Girls:
 
 
U14 Born on or after August 1, 1999
U13 Born on or after August 1, 2000
U12 Born on or after August 1, 2001
U11  (8vs8 only) Born on or after August 1, 2002
U10  (8vs8 only) Born on or after August 1, 2003
U9  (8vs8 only) Born on or after August 1, 2004
 
ELIGIBILITY: The Enfield Soccer Club invites Intra-Club tournament teams and Classic teams only (no premier teams), to participate in this tournament.  This Tournament is sanctioned by the USYSA through the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA).  All the teams must be affiliated with the USYSA or the appropriate National Association and must be in good standing. Properly registered teams with up to two (2) guest players will be permitted to play.
 
REGISTRATION: Registration for all teams will be from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, August 30, 2013. Teams will be required to furnish an official certified roster, player and coach passes for U11 and up, and Tournament medical release form at time of registration.
 
APPLICATION: The Tournament application, a USYSA roster of all players, and the entry fee of $400.00 (US) for U9 and U10, 8 vs 8 teams and $450.00 (US) for U11 (8 vs 8), and U12 through U14 (11 vs 11) age groups. Checks are made payable to the Enfield Soccer Club, and must be submitted by Friday, August 2nd, 2013.
 
The following Criteria will be taken into consideration by the Tournament Committee for acceptance to the Tournament:         
                        a) Level of competition and team record
                        b) Geographic balance
                        c) Early application
 
Every attempt will be made to issue acceptance to the tournament by August 16, 2013.  Application fees will be refunded immediately for teams not accepted.  Teams withdrawing from the tournament after acceptance will forfeit application fee.
 
AWARDS: First and second place awards will be individually awarded in each age group, except for the U9 & U10 teams who will receive a participation award.  A sportsmanship award will also be presented to a team in each division (except U9 & U10).  A tournament patch will be provided to all players.  Teams are requested to exchange patches or pins at the end of each game.  All applications and correspondence should be directed to:
